Inking My Brains Out.

Fiq. Illustrator, Crafter, sometimes Baker, all round Dreamer.

Handlettering has always been my first love.
I enjoyed switching handwriting ever since I was in primary school. I even got into trouble for it once in secondary school, where I had to do a report on any chosen topic in a scrapbook style, and I chose to handwrite every single word on that. So I had a different handwriting for each page, thinking I was all fancy and stuff and my teacher thought I got different people to do the report for me.
So she interrogated me and got me to demonstrate each handwriting in front of her to prove my innocence (yeah, she was a nutter) and even when I did, she was still pretty sceptical about the whole thing.
But I still changed handwriting all the time, back then to annoy teachers like her, and now to satisfy my own letter fetish.
This one’s just a draft of an idea, I may or may not turn this into a full piece. We’ll see. It’s a line from ‘Hand Me Down’ by The Mystery Jets, one of the recent earworms I’ve been having. View high resolution
